What are you thinking about? I have had another revelation this morning, “I have been thinking wrong!” Things will move when I line my thoughts up to the thoughts of God. It’s not positive thinking that will change you, it’s being renewed by the power of the living word of God. The Word of God is Life and the more you feed on Life the more Life you get in your dead situations! That was good right there! So what is not moving in your life right now? What seems dead in your life right now? What seems hopeless in your life right now? I have the answer, but it will take effort on your part, not self-effort, but effort that takes time out of your day. Effort that will make you turn off the TV, or computer or stop blogging. Whatever has taken your time from the Word of God must go! So your effort is opening your Bible and spending time renewing your mind on the subject that has you bound. Life is in the Word, and the more you acknowledge the Word and the Life in the Word, the more that Life will come back to you. So change your thoughts with the Word and your circumstances will change. I asked myself, “Self, what if I locked you away just me and the Word of God for 24 hours, how much of my thinking would change?” So guess what, that is what I am going to do. I am going to shut down all that has distracted me and look to Jesus my Author and Finisher of everything. Romans 12:1-2 says, “I beseech you, I beg your by the mercies of God to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is true worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.” That word “renew” in the Greek means to complete a process, new development, make fresh and new and “change of heart and life!” So today I encourage you to take a challenge with me and lock yourself away with the power of God, His Word and let Him give you a fresh, new life!
